Oti Mabuse has insisted she and Cheryl “are bonding” following rumours of a feud between the pair.
The Strictly Come Dancing pro appeared on Wednesday’s Lorraine and spoke about her relationship with her The Greatest Dancer co-star.
Oti, 28, admitted she was “nervous” when she first met cheryl because they didn’t know each other, however, she said they “gelled like Bluetooth” straight away.

She said: “When we met I was a little bit nervous because I don’t know her, she doesn’t know me.
“All I said was, ‘If I respect her she’ll probably respect me.’ From the first sentence, we gelled like Bluetooth, even last night, we were texting till midnight.
“It’s nice to know her and see her funny side, she’s always looking at my bum, I’m always looking at her six pack! So it’s really nice, we’re bonding.”
Last month, it was reported the pair weren’t seeing eye-to-eye.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Cheryl clearly sees herself as the bigger name, even though Oti has impeccable dance credentials. It’s created a real atmosphere.
“Cheryl arrived with such an air of superiority — a few of the crew thought she was being a bit of a diva.
“Oti has years of dance competition experience alongside Strictly where she’s been massively popular with fans – but has absolutely no ego at all. They didn’t seem to gel and it was pretty uncomfortable.”
A representative for Cheryl later poured cold water on the gossip, telling MailOnline: “It’s a fabricated story – yet again trying to pit female against female on a TV show.
“It’s a shame we haven’t moved past this. Cheryl absolutely loves working with Oti and has a brilliant relationship with her.”
Oti also took to Instagram to hit back at the claims.
She shared a photo of herself and Cheryl sharing a hug, alongside the caption: “Imagine a world where two women work together with love, support and nothing but sisterhood…
“THERE’S ABSOLUTELY NO TENSION between @cherylofficial and myself.

“This beautiful woman has been nothing but caring, accepting and guiding towards me, she’s funny, smart and honest.”
Speaking directly to Cheryl, she added: “Sis you’re an absolute QUEEN I love you dearly and cannot wait to work with you.
“If anything I feel privileged and honoured to even be picked to share the same panel as you.”
