Sue Radford revealed she received shocking messages after posting an emotional tribute to her stillborn son on Instagram.
The 22 Kids and Counting star shared a post about the couple’s son Alfie, who was stillborn three months into her pregnancy in 2014. He would have been their 17th child.
Sue, 48, often shares insights about her large family and recently posted about Baby Loss Awareness Week which was celebrated on October 9-15. The Radford family consists of mum Sue, dad, Noel, and their 22 children.

Taking to Instagram, Sue posted an image of Alfie’s grave surrounded by flowers and stuffed animals as well as a black and white photo of his hand.
She wrote: “Wave of light 2023. Forever our missing heartbeat, Alfie Thomas Radford.”

While many sent the Radford family supportive messages, others left several cruel comments on the post.
One troll wrote: “Again?? What’s the occasion? No content?”
Since receiving the comment Sue expressed how people are “mentally not okay”. She said: “People like this are really mentally not okay. They must have such an incredibly sad life and for that, I feel sorry for you.” She added: “I will never stop talking about Alfie. He is our son who is loved and missed.”

Meanwhile, others came in defence of the mum of 22 as one user said: “Does there have to be an occasion… they lost their son have some respect.”
In addition, a second added: “Why does there need to be an occasion, pretty sure not a minute or day goes by they don’t think of their little boy! Seriously need to wise up before commenting [BLEEP].”
