Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid today clashed with a guest who had been cleared of ‘misgendering’ a trans child by police.
Journalist Caroline Farrow was asked to attend a “voluntary interview” with police after being accused of “misgendering” trans lobbyist Susie Green’s child on Twitter following a heated debate on GMB.
Catholic mother-of-five Caroline said she was left “shaking” and worried she’d go to prison after getting a call from Surrey police, but today admitted she stands by her comments, which Susanna labelled “hurtful”.

Caroline insisted she “wasn’t targeting Susie’s child” and “didn’t tag her” in the tweets, claiming: “This is political, not personal.”
Susanna hit back, saying: “Caroline, it’s sounding incredibly personal.”
She added: “Everyone agrees you are entitled to your opinion, what people are concerned about is if you repeatedly target an individual, and call on others to do the same and use language that is frankly insensitive.”

“Whether it’s illegal or legal, it’s hurtful. You’re entitled to discuss the issue but don’t make it so personal,” Susanna added.
Caroline had previously accused Susie Green of “child abuse” and “castrating” her child after they became the youngest British person to undergo full gender reassignment surgery in Thailand almost ten years ago, at the age of 16.
