Vernon Kay, the husband of Tess Daly, has addressed rumours of a feud between his wife and her Strictly Come Dancing co-star Craig Revel Horwood.
The 47-year-old presenter also admitted that he only watches the first 15 minutes of his wife’s show before switching over!
What did Vernon say about the rumours?
Speaking to the Mirror, the former I’m A Celebrity bronze medalist referred to rumours of a “bitter feud” between Tess and Craig as “absolute nonsense”.
Rumours of a feud between Tess, 52, and Craig, 56, came after the pair clashed on the show recently. Tess branded Craig “rude”, whilst Craig accused Tess’ questions of being “dull”.

However, Vernon claims that a “bitter feud” between his wife and the judge couldn’t be further from the truth.
“That’s been absolute nonsense,” the presenter said of the rumours. “Craig’s just passionate. They’re brilliant together.”
“We always support him in panto,” he continued, highlighting the couple’s bond with the judge. “He’s a friend.”
What did Vernon say about online ‘haters’?
Vernon’s wife, Tess, was also accused of being “condescending” with Strictly contestant Rhys Stephenson last weekend.
As Rhys got emotional, Tess said: “Aw, come on darling. Aw Rhys, come over sweetheart. Are you crying, honey? Are you having a little cry?”
Tess received some backlash online, criticising the way she consoled the 28-year-old CBBC presenter.
“That was uncomfortable to witness. Why did Tess feel the need to speak to Rhys like he was 6 years old?” one viewer asked at the time.
“Oh come on now Tess, Rhys isn’t 5!!” another viewer ranted on Saturday (November 27).
“Tess talking to Rhys like he’s just fell off the climbing frame and bruised his knee,” a third had said.
“Twitter especially is so divisive,” Vernon said of his wife’s criticism. “These days, what you’ve got to do is ‘drop [the tweet] and run’. Someone is always going to say something horrible.”
In the same interview, Vernon also admitted to only watching the first 15 minutes of Strictly Come Dancing before switching channels.
What else did the presenter have to say?
Vernon explained that he’ll “watch the first 15 minutes” and then “make food, come back, dip in”.
