The Chase star Shaun Wallace beat contestant Tammy after she didn’t get any questions right in the cashbuilder.
In yesterday evening’s repeated episode (Tuesday June 8), the contestant found the going tough on the ITV quiz show.
During her stint, even host Bradley Walsh became frustrated.
What happened to Tammy on The Chase yesterday?
Tammy, a 24-year-old teaching assistant from Middlesex, took her place for the cashbuilder and explained that in her spare time she volunteers as a first responder for the London ambulance service.
She also told Bradley that even if she didn’t come away with anything she had loved the whole Chase experience.
Little did she know what was about to play out…

Tammy got no questions right in the cashbuilder, and Shaun Wallace offered her -£1,000 and a top offer of £50,000.
Tammy decided to play it safe and go for the minus offer.
However, despite eventually answering three questions correctly Shaun caught her easily.
Did Shaun beat Tammy on The Chase?
Tammy made a terrible start to her Chase with Shaun, getting her first three questions wrong.
And, with The Dark Destroyer knocking on the door, even Bradley became frustrated.
“We got to start getting some right Tammy, come on,” he exhaled.
Tammy did manage to answer a few questions correctly, but it wasn’t long before Shaun caught her up.

How did viewers react to Tammy’s unsuccessful stint on The Chase?
Viewers soon defended the teaching assistant on Twitter after her horror show performance.
One said: “Feel for this Tammy on #TheChase.
“Not easy questions to be fair hahaha.”
Another wrote: “#TheChase tammy volunteers to help other human beings in need…
“For that she gets a thumbs up from me.”
A third thought that nerves might have gotten the better of her.

“Poor Tammy,” the viewer wrote. “I’m sure it was just nerves.”
