Curtis Pritchard’s partner Maura Higgins was sexually frustrated when he turned down her advances in the bedroom on Love Island, but it’s believed there is a reason he didn’t want to get down to it on national TV.
Before entering the villa, professional dancer Curtis said he believes sex should be a private matter and he is hopeful for a spot on family show Strictly Come Dancing, alongside his brother AJ Pritchard.
Curtis is already a pro on the Irish version of the show, Dancing With The Stars.
According to the MailOnline, before entering the villa Curtis said of his career plans: “Joining Strictly is an opportunity that I would never turn down but who knows.”
Curtis also insisted he would not want to have sex on TV because he believes it’s a private matter between partners.

He said: “I won’t be having sex on TV – that’s a private matter, if somebody does that, that’s what they want to do but it’s not what I would like to do.
“I feel it’s a very private matter and should be done behind closed doors, not for the world to see. It should be between you and your loved one.
“Kisses are fine. Everything further than that, it should be a private matter.”
On Thursday night’s show (July 25) Maura and Curtis got close under the covers but as she told him she wanted him, he replied: “Tonight is not the night.”

The next day, he reassured Maura nothing was wrong and he was tired and had a lot on his mind.
Curtis’ choice to not go all the way with Maura comes after previous Islanders voiced their regret at having sex on the show.
In 2016, contestant Zara Holland was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after she slept with Alex Bowen in the villa.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
