Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary opened today’s This Morning with a very energetic dance routine – and it left poor Alison struggling to catch her breath!
The pair kicked off Friday’s show (May 3) by bouncing around to Katy Perry’s hit Last Friday Night. And, after showing off their best moves, it was time to get on with the show.
But once the music stopped, Alison struggled as she tried to carry on hosting as normal while clearly out of breath.
This Morning host Alison Hammond declares ‘I’m so unfit’
Holding onto her co-host for mock support, Alison guffawed with laughter and told Dermot: “I’m so out of breath! I’m so unfit!”
As she started to make worrying wheezing noises, Dermot stopped presenting and turned to face her, grasping her shoulders. He then warned her: “Take a minute.”
I’m so out of breath! I’m so unfit!
Dermot was then left to introduce what was coming up on the show, before the cameras returned to the pair a few minutes later, with Alison seeming to have regained her composure.
Viewers react
Rather than show concern for the host, viewers were laughing along with her.
One commented: “I love Alison and Dermot. They’re just so funny together.” Another added: “Love the Friday energy from Dermot and Alison – only day I bother watching now.”
A third commented: “Dermot and Alison always bring the energy. Love them!”

He spoke over her as she presented her recipes and mocked her final dish, leaving viewers blasting him as “rude”.
