Is there room for everyone?

| Updated:

We’ve missed him so, and presenter Rylan Clark-Neal has finally confirmed he’s returning to This Morning!

Or, at least, the This Morning Live event in Birmingham this May.

Taking to Twitter on Thursday evening, the sassy presenter wrote: “Guess who’s back. See you at @TMLiveEvent @thismorning . See you there #TmLive x”.

Fans were delighted with the news, writing: “Yayyyyy thank god you’re back!”. A second tweeted: “Fantastic news! You really are a lovely chap!”

But others questioned whether it meant he was coming back to the show itself, too.

One wrote: Are you back on @thismorning or just @TMLiveEvent 😃”. Another added: “It’s about time you came back to the This Morning couch 👌”.

A third added: “I hope this means you are coming back regularly to @thismorning as you’ve been a massive miss!! ”

And there’s more – he could be headed back to the show proper! The Sun reports that the 29-year-old definitely IS coming back (yay) – and soon.

Their source claims: “Rylan will be back on screen shortly – in fact, it could be as soon as next month.

“He’s part of the show’s family and always has been. Even though he took a short break, he was always going to return.”

The Celebrity Big Brother presenter has been a fan favourite on the ITV show, since he joined as the entertainment reporter in 2014.

He has since covered Phillip Schofield on the sofa, presenting alongside Holly Willoughby and Ruth Langsford.

In December, he announced he would be taking a break from This Morning for “a few months”, while he focused on his other jobs, which included new ITV game show Babushka, and ITV2 panel show Codswallop.

He’s also been busy scaring viewers on the recent Celebrity Ghost Hunt.

But he admitted he was missing doing the daytime show, saying: “I’m really missing being there but I just need time to myself. People think there’s an ulterior motive and there’s not.

“I just needed a break for my head, for my body, for my peace of mind.”

According to a report in The Mirror, this has got some viewers worried for the future of another This Morning regular, though.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! winner Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo has been appearing on This Morning, while Rylan has been away, and some fans are worried this means her time on the show will soon be over.

But one fan reassured on Twitter: “Toff and Rylan don’t do the same job on This Morning, so there’s room for both of them!”
