Actor Brian Blessed, the man with the most recognisable voice in showbiz, appeared on This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby on Wednesday and he didn’t disappoint.
He was typically baffling and entertaining in equal measure, especially when he started talking about gorillas and their private parts!

The star started with tales of a panther on his kitchen table and a boa constrictor snake that fell in love with him, Holly then said: “I cannot let you go without finding out about the gorilla.”
Brian then launched into a lengthy tale of his experiences with the creatures.
“Gorillas have always had a rather bad press in a strange way, even now in films they’re quite aggressive and horrible and frightening,” he said.
“Gorillas look on me as a fellow gorilla, everyone calls me a yeti and the gorillas love me and the big gorillas, the males, wrestle me, of course. And they laugh as you tickle them and grab their whatsits if they’re getting too strong.”
So far so strange.
“Anyway, the females were incredibly sexy with me,” he continued. “They’re always trying to feel me up.
“The females would empty your pockets, they’re so inquisitive and then their hands would move slowly towards my flies – ‘now girls stop it, ah ah ah ah, stop it’ and then a little pat on the nose.”
A near hysterical Holly asked: “Is that actual gorilla speak?”
“This is universal wild animal speak,” Brian explained.
“The female would then move away but their hands would gradually come back again, now girls, and of course, I can’t say this on this programme… Male gorillas between 25 and 30 stone, immense shoulders, and their privates, they’re little lipsticks aren’t they?
“I don’t want to talk about the human penis, but it’s considerably larger than the gorillas’ so the female gorillas wanted to find out! Leave it alone girls would you?!”
Well, what a conversation that turned out to be!
Viewers absolutely loved it and thought TV could do with more people like Brian.
Others were completely confused by him and what he was talking about – but still loved it anyway!
