In an emotional post on Instagram, Tom Daley’s husband Dustin Lance Black has shared the moment he took his baby son to visit the graves of his family.
“A family moment in Los Angeles. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow.❤️❤️❤️❤️,” wrote the director, adding: “Robbie’s first visit to Grandma and Uncle Marcus.”
Dustin, 44, lost his brother Marcus to cancer in 2012. His mother, Roseanna Bisch passed away two years later, in 2014.
The filmmaker, who married Olympic diver Tom last year, has described her as “the greatest gift a boy could ever ask for”, adding, “I’ll try my best to be at least half as brilliant as you were every day.”
His 332k followers were touched by the moving image of Dustin by his mum’s grave.
One wrote: “She would be so happy and proud of you”.
Another commented: “A very beautiful picture of a very beautiful family ❤️”.
A third added: “So glad you have each other to walk this journey”.
The pair chose to name their son after Tom’s late dad Robert, who passed away in 2011 of a brain tumour.

The couple welcomed their son, Robbie, via a surrogate on June 27.
The loved-up pair have shared a series of sweet snaps since, including one of Dustin fast asleep holding baby Robbie.
Dustin captioned the photo: “Jetlag has us all a little bit… 📷: @tomdaley (Papa) #naptime.”
Tom, 24, has also shared images, including one of Robbie’s teeny-tiny, blue Adidas trainers. Tom captioned the picture: “Too cute!”
The sports star said the arrival of his son was the “most magical moment in my life”.
He added: “The amount of love and joy you have brought into our life is immeasurable. Our precious son.”
Tom also revealed he’d been preparing for fatherhood since he was a teenager.
He told The Guardian in July: “There’s nothing I’ve ever been more sure of in my life than having a family.”
But he did fear coming out meant he couldn’t have a family.
He added: “One of the things I was so mortified about, so upset about, when I came out, was that I’d never be able to have a family. But then obviously I did more research.
“Because there’s something so special about passing on what my parents have taught me to children of my own.”
