The show is still not officially announced but it looks like there are going to be some big changes when Dancing On Ice returns to ITV next January.
In the new look show, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean will assume new roles on the judging panel, which means there will be a new mentor-type person in place to guide the contestants.
And it looks like that person will be former show skater Sylvain Longchambon.

He is the very dashing French ice dancer who fell in love with Corrie’s Samia Ghadie and ended up marrying her in a fairytale wedding last year!
According to reports, the show will be radically different from previous series and will feature all new dancers, plus a new judging line up.
“Dancing On Ice is going to look quite different when it comes back,” a show insider told the Sun.
“Torvill and Dean are going to be on the judging panel so there will need to be a new approach to teaching the celebs to skate.
“Sylvain has been on the show for years and has proved popular with both the fans and the production team so they’ve asked him to come back.
“Things are still up in the air and a lot of new skaters are being considered and approached, so the line-up of pros could look totally different.
“But Sylvain will definitely be at least one familiar face when the show comes back early next year.
“There is also talk of him taking a coaching role with Torvill and Dean moving to the judging panel.”
