Celebs Go Dating’s love guru Nadia Essex has been forced to reassure shocked fans that she’s very much alive and well after an internet troll sent out a Tweet saying that she’d died.
Fans were left bewildered when Friday night’s episode of the celebrity dating show was replaced with a repeat of Come Dine With Me: Made In Chelsea, with many fans speculating as to why the show wasn’t aired.
One viewer tweeted that it was because Nadia Essex had died – and out-and-out lie.
The 34-year-old relationship expert is said to have been having dinner at a restaurant with no reception, so was blissfully unaware of the vile rumour spreading online and wasn’t able to set the record straight until she’d left.
Although at first she seemed to take the tweets in her stride, it became clear that the nasty rumours had clearly worried friends, family and fans which Nadia, understandably, found deeply upsetting.

Concerned fans took to Twitter to vent their anger about the sick rumour.
Replying to her followers, Nadia expressed how much the lie has upset her, and said to one fan “It’s disgraceful. Was in a place with no wifi. My poor friends and family were beside themselves.”
