As soon as former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding entered the Celebrity Big Brother house viewers could see she was struggling to hold it together as she broke down in tears in the diary room.
Sarah, who is a recovering alcoholic, was seen getting drunk in the house and her fellow housemates Paul Danan and Brandi Glanville put her up for eviction, after expressing worries that she was “unstable”.
But although she was saved from eviction, she is now seeking help from the show’s health professionals behind the scenes and has “time away” from her fellow celeb housemates.
A source told The Sun: “Sarah is not in a great state. She’s not coping with the pressure and she’s paranoid about what everyone thinks of her.

“She’s been spending time talking to the professional team and is being given time away from the other housemates.
They continued: “She is finding it tough living with so many other people because she usually lives alone.
“No one wants her to walk out so it’s about trying to get her through these difficult times. There are real concerns, they don’t want to push her too far.”
A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother has told the Express online: “Big Brother constantly monitors housemates and their behaviour.”
After one of the celeb contestants Brandi Glanville called Sarah’s mental stability into question, Sarah broke down in the diary room. The Girls Aloud star said: “I don’t know who to trust anymore.
“I’m used to being on my own, not with a large group who act like kids and are constantly told off by you guys.”
She has been involved with squabbles with some of the other contestants and admitted to feeling that she is being ganged up on. She said: “I just can’t deal with them and I don’t know what Jemma’s problem is, I’ve been nothing but nice to her, now all of a sudden she’s completely switched on me and they’re all in this [expletive] little clique.
“I had one drink in here, for [expletive] sake, and now it’s all ruined because of one night.

“I tried to stay positive the whole time. They ask me what’s wrong and I tell them I’ve had a headache for three days and I’m not used to being in an environment like this.
“I just don’t feel I belong here anymore.”
Evicted Mob Wives star Marissa Jade said Sarah is a “great girl” but definitely doesn’t appear to be feeling great. She said: “From an outsiders point of view, she was very down and out every day.
“I guess it can be portrayed as negative – she stuck to herself, she was complaining she wasn’t feeling well.
“I believe she opened up in that manner because she believed she can trust who she was opening up to.”
