We’re constantly being told that this year’s Strictly cast are at each other’s throats – but maybe there’s nothing in those rumours after all.
Former contestant Rev Richard Coles has lifted the lid on some of the backstage antics that go on after the cameras have finished rolling.
And it sounds like everything’s fine and dandy between the hopefuls.
Richard, 55, explained that they regularly chat online via a WhatsApp group.
But not only that – he claimed that two stars in particular send naughty messages to each other.
The former Communards star and his professional partner Dianne Buswell were eliminated in week two, but apparently that still gave Richard enough time to discover what goes on behind the scenes.
He told the Daily Star: “Some of the group excelled themselves when it comes to naughtiness, and in particular Gemma and Simon.
“I couldn’t possibly comment on what type of videos and messages get shared, but there are eye-watering things.”
Sunday Brunch host Simon, 54, and his professional partner Karen Clifton have also been voted off the BBC show now, but Gemma, 33, is still going strong.

The Emmerdale actress and her partner Aljaz Skornajec have produced some dazzling displays on the dancefloor, but those have almost been upstaged by persistent claims that she’s having an affair with Alexandra Burke’s pro partner Gorka Marquez.
And according to reports, the claims have caused tension between Gemma and former X Factor winner Alex, 29.
However, in a recent interview, Gemma put paid to that gossip, insisting that all is well between the pair – and indeed everyone else on the show.
And she also seemed to support the suggestion made by Rev Richard Coles.

She told the Mirror: “I think people love to hear that contestants or pros are falling out, because they love a little bit of drama. But unfortunately, there isn’t any.
“There’s no animosity between anyone. We all message each other in the week on WhatsApp, and send each other funny pictures and videos.”
Meanwhile, Gemma has revealed that she’s put on weight since this series of Strictly started.
In an Instagram post, the actress responded to questions from fans about her health and fitness regime.
Alongside a picture of her looking trim in the gym, the actress wrote: “Loads of you have asked about my training blogs recently, so I thought I’d explain in one post.
“Firstly, this pic is 3 months old. I don’t look like this now. In all honesty, since Strictly started, both my training and my diet especially have been neglected.
“I’d be lying if I said a part of me isn’t enjoying the daily cakes, doughnuts, pizzas and chocolates.”
Well, it doesn’t seem to be doing her chances of winning the competition any harm!
