It’s only a couple of weeks since Kat Moon mysteriously re-appeared in Albert Square, but in last night’s episode of EastEnders she disappeared again.
At least, that’s what it looked like!
The Slaters have been having a hard time of it since the whole fake-death debacle with their neighbours not taking kindly to being “hoodwinked” as Sharon put it.
So Kat decided to head out into the Square and drum up some support for the family, by getting the great and the good of Walford (aka Ian Beale) on side.
But as Kat knocked on Ian’s door, something very strange happened. She disappeared!
Kat vanished, leaving only her leopard-print boots on the doorstep.
Of course, she didn’t actually vanish – but it certainly looked that way.
In fact, Kat’s black coat and dark hair had blended into Ian’s black front door giving the viewers the impression she’d completely disappeared.
Fans took to Twitter to share their amusement at the optical illusion.
“Thought it was just a pair of boots,” said one amused fan. “When Kat knocks at Ian’s door all you see is leopard print boots,” said another.

“That moment when you think ‘why’s someone left a pair of boots at the door’! Then Kat turns around…” giggled another viewer.

Given the frosty reception the Slaters received in the pub, Kat might have wished she HAD disappeared!
