If you’ve read our Emmerdale spoilers for next week, you’ll already know that Lachlan looks set to murder again.
Convinced that Liv is behind the taunting text messages, he decides to do away with her.
But in so doing, he also puts the lives of Robert, Seb and Rebecca in danger. Not that having the blood of his relatives on his hands would be anything new to him…

But, anyway, it seems from last night’s episode that the village’s resident serial killer may have treated himself to a muderous ‘amuse bouche’ ahead of the main event…
He was seen driving to a funeral, where he glared with intent at a familiar face: the man who pretended to be Gerry’s uncle, ‘Terry’.
We then witnessed him speaking to girlfriend Belle, explaining that he was late home as something had taken him a little longer than expected.
Could that ‘something’ have been bludgeoning a man to death?

Lachlan told Belle there was nothing to worry about as he went in for a a hug… but there was a tell-tale splodge of blood on his sleeve.
Did you spot it? Some eagle-eyed viewers did… and shared their observations on Twitter.
“Uh oh killed again have you Lachlan,” another posted on the social media platform.
Oh, Emmerdale, you are such a tease! Does this mean that Lachlan has chalked up another notch on his deaths list? Or is it just a (blood) red herring?
One viewer posed the question we’re all wondering… who or what will make him stop now he has a taste for it?
