X Factor star eyes up I’m A Celebrity appearance

Could they really handle the pressure of the jungle?

We don’t know about you, but we were left stunned following the shock departure of Tracy Leanne Jefford from The X Factor last night.

The mum of three, who was in the Overs category mentored by Nicole Scherzinger, went out after singing the Jennifer Lopez song Ain’t Your Mama.

She became the fourth contestant to be given the boot following Boys’ contestant Leon Mallett, who left on Saturday night.

The singer had no regrets though and admitted that she “enjoyed every minute of it,” on this morning’s Lorraine show.

She appeared on the programme with showbiz reporter Dan Wootton, who revealed that before the show, Tracy Leanne had been saying how much she would love to appear on the new series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

Tracy Leanne said, “What I will say is that there’s two weeks before they go to the jungle. Call me up, I’ll be ready.”

As she laughed away, Dan chipped in “They did it with Jake Quickenden you know!” referring to X Factor contestant Jake back in 2014, who left the singing show one week and ended up in the jungle quite literally the following week, much to the shock of everyone on the show, including Simon Cowell.

Lorraine encouraged the singer to go for it, saying, “You’d be fantastic!” as Tracy Leanne went on to say “Oh I’d love it in there.”

“My biggest phobia are rats I’m really scared of them but I’ll just pretend they are rabbits nibbling on me.”

Urgh!

Sounding horrified, Lorraine added, “Don’t say the rats, because they’ll make you do that, that’ll be the first one! Well watch this space, let’s make this happen.”

Can you imagine Tracy Leanne in the jungle camp?

She’d definitely keep any stroppy celeb moods at bay, so if Ant and Dec are reading, you know what to do!
